ich möchte PostgreSQL bei einem stark datenbanklastigem Portal nutzen.
Nun habe ich das Problem das ich Postgres nicht dazu bringen kann, dass es keine pg_xlogs anlegt.
Ich habe im /data/pg_xlogs/ 16 MB grosse Dateien.
Postgres soll alle Änderungen sofort auf die Festplatte schreiben.

Ich benutze Postgres 8.1
Es sollen am besten garkeine LOG erstellt werden, wenn es sein muss geht eine LOG-datei auch noch klar aber nicht so wie jetzt das immer wieder mal eine erstellt wird.
